I'd like to make a repeated band by inserting an image along the line.

I'd like to repeat the image as it is in color along the line.

Like an illustration's blend tool.

Please help me. I don't have any data.

I believe if your search the web and] this forum you will find a script to distribute a pattern or smart object along a path, Are pattern  and smart object not images. You cam also use stroke path to stamp a pattern.Try this web seatch

    If you know your way around Illustrator, why not use a pattern brush/ art brush there? Would be much simpler. PS really has no such feature and you'd have to place everything manually.
