I'm trying to use quick selection tool but when i click on the image a notice comes up with 'Could not use quick selection tool because not enough memory (RAM)'.

Can someone please help me with this as soon as possible as I have a project due in work and im afraid I will now not have it in on time!

Thanks

    Hi

Adobe released Photoshop 19.1.5 today which fixes the issue.

Once installed, to allow Photoshop to manage memory - the temporary fix needs to be removed . See this :

Error while accessing performance preferences - 'An integer between 96 and 8 is required.'

What operating system are your running?  If its Windows,  there's some issues with it and Photoshop.  There's a few threads here regarding it,  usually this Error while accessing performance preferences - 'An integer between 96 and 8 is required.' is the usual fix for that issue.

I have tried this already, and it's still not working, much appreciated though
