Correct answer D Fosse

Can anybody answer the last question?

Thanks !

I don't see why it shouldn't. The video card is possibly the weakest link - it was released in 2015, and 2GB VRAM is a little on the low side. OTOH it does support DirectX 12, which is an absolute requirement. The rest should be perfectly OK.

There is a 7 day free trial period so you can find out for yourself. I think you need to cancel before the 7 days are out, or it automatically turns into an active subscription.

Again, you must have Windows 10, 1809 or later.

its a little light on storage as well the 2T Nas will give you trouble if you try to load work dirrect from that into Photoshop and the 512 is too small to run modern Windows 10

yes this system should run Photoshop but its nothing to get exited about and I'd honestly keep shoping around

Ussnorway,

I'm not sure what you mean by "keep shopping around".  I wasn't shopping at all.  That is the system that I already have and have had for 6 years.

Also, what is "the 512"?  I am currently using Windows 10 so whatever it is, it must not be too small?

Thanks

will it interfere with the working of the new Photoshop?

yes it will because Adobe CC app will scan your computer and try to take control of the CS5 copy... this always results in errors so your best option is to get a new computer and put the sub on that

Not for CS5. This happened with CS6 because there was also a CS6 version offered as part of CC. That does not apply to CS5.

In other words, you can keep CS5 and the new version will not interfere. But do note that system requirements have increased. Specifically you need a CPU with SSE4.2, and Windows 10 (1809 or later). There are also demands of the GPU that CS5 weren't close to, so a card that worked in CS5 may not work in the new version.

D Fosse,
I'm not real computer savvy.  I had the following built for me several years ago.  Should it be able to handle the latest PS?

When you install a new version, it gives you the option to keep old versions. But I would think that if your OS would run the new Photoshop, that it would be having problems running CS5 or visa versa.

I have CS 2 and CS3 installed.  I had CS6 installed and tried not to have CC update it. However,  for some reason CC tried to update CS6 and broke my perpetual Cs6 version 13.0.1,3 install. It failed to  work correctly and reported its version was 13.0 no longer version 13.0.1.3.  So I had a Broken CS6 and Update fail to fix it Update failed.  So I installed CS6 version 13.0 over the broken 13.0 and that  Fixed  the broken  CS6 version 13.0.  When  I than ran  Update, Update updated perpetual CS6 13.0 to Creative Cloud CS6 extended version 13.1.2  which I still have installed and can use.  My perpetual licences was for Standard CS6 and I could run the optional CS5 plug-ins like picture package.  These plug-ins do not work in Creative Cloud CS6. They will in your Perpetual CS5. On the brighter side Create Cloud CS6 version 13.1.2  is extended CS6  and has a fix for a Photoshop Scripting bug I reported to Adobe.

If you cave in be sure to install Photoshop 2020 version 21.2.4 as well as Photoshop 2021 version 22.1.  There are many known issues in Photoshop 2021.
