If remove tool doesn't work Extension appears if extension disappears remove tools work

Hello
i have an M1 with the latest updates of photoshop when I open PS with rosetta, the extension is back but the removal tool does not work at all however when I uncheck the box open with rosetta the removal tool works but the extension has disappeared like a game of hide and seek.

 

is there a way to solve this unpleasant problem

Hi @Daniel30999591pppb current Photoshop builds are native for M1. Changing to Rosetta mode should not require you to uninstall or reinstall the app. Its controlled in the Mac OS Get Info window.

Hello @Kevin Stohlmeyer thank you for your help;

It's mean that my current version of photoshop is not the native version and in order to fix the problem i have to uninstall photoshop for a native version.

Please if my understanding is right could you share with me a link to download native version for M1

Hi @Daniel30999591pppb its simple - the Remove Tool does not work in Rosetta mode. It requires the native install version to run. I wouldn't focus on what Rosetta mode shows or hides when active.
