image pixelated through all the layers

I was making an image with a lot of layers, some are level layers to adjust the image. During the making, The whole image just suddenly became pixelated. The strange part is that the pixelation pattern just went through every layer of my file while I was only highlight on one single layer. Has anyone one out there faced such problem before? I am attaching two images, the red-yellow one is suppose to be and the green-white-red one with pixelated patterns is the deformed version.
