Image size hangs the Photoshop for several seconds

After working with the image and selecting Image size and executing the desired value, Photoshop will hang. It doesn't matter if it needs to downsize or upsize, or whatever is the number I need. It just hangs for about 10-15secs. Then returns to normal. If I use Image size next time, it will be instant, as should.

So in a nutshell:

1. Starting Image size the first time makes Photoshop to hang
2. Downsizing, upsizing, interpolation, values etc. - doesn't matter
3. Next time after initial hang, Image size will work normally, as should.

Windows 10 Pro, 32gb ram, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, AMD GPU Radeon 5500XT. All drivers are latest, latest PS.

One thing to try:

  1. Go to preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - Restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

Can you go into the Help menu and select "System Info..", then use the "Copy" button and paste the result into a message here.

Do you have any Grids or other overlays shown on your documents when you experiencing these hangs?
