images just want to open

Had to uninstall the Photoshop Beta as it became the default setting for opening all my photoshop files.

Went to Get Info to instruct all future files to open in my Photoshop 2023 but it would not allow me to do so?

Ensure that your profile has read/write privileges under the Sharing & Permissions twirldown in the Get Info dialog.
