Question

Images too large for screen

For the past 2 weeks, every file I open appears too large for my screen.  This happens regardless if the photo is a new one, or a recent one that I had opened previously, or even one that I had openedd years ago.  Using FIT TO SCREEN just makes it bigger.  I can use the magnfying glass to shrink it down, but it shrinks into the lower right corner of the screen, with half of it off the screen.  Neither my mouse nor the HAND will move it in any direction.  I have made no changes to my hardware or software.  macOS 10.14.6 Mohave, Photoshop CC 20.0.6

If Nancy's suggestion doesn't help try resetting your Photoshop preferences, which you can find under the General tab, in Photoshop preferences.

    Derek,

Nancy's suggestions haven't solved my problem.  As for your suggestion of using PS Preferences General, I don't see anything there that looks like it has anything to so with this situation.  Not to suggest that there isn't,, although that I don't recognize it.

As I said, I have changed nothing before this happened.

Thanks for your interest in my problem.

Which Adobe software or service is this about?

What is your operating system's screen resolution set to?

    Nancy,

    Creative Cloud Photoshop 20.0.6

Interstingly, I don't see any numbers decribing the screen resolution on my Mac 27-inch Retina display.  However, I do have text size set to large because I can't really see anything smaller.

As I said I have not made any changes to anything before this problem statreted.

    Thank you for your interest.

    JK
