Question

Imported workspace not showing up in Workspaces tab

I created a new profile on my Windows PC specifically for work, and I'm trying to import my photoshop settings. Brushes and shortcuts were easy enough, but importing my workspace doesn't seem to work.

I've exported my old workspace as a .psw file and tried to import it from the Presets tab under Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets, and I've manually placed the file under C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2023\Adobe Photoshop 2023 Settings/Workspaces and Workspaces (modified). Despite all this, my workspace won't appear in the Workspaces panel, whether I access it from the button on the top right or from Windows > Workspaces.

I'm at a loss 😕😕

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for your time and sorry for the late reply!

Unfortunately, this is exactly my problem. Like I said in my post, I've exported my workspace as a .psw and then imported it from the Presets tab under Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets, AS WELL as dragged it manually into the workspaces folder, but it still doesn't show up under the Workspaces tab in Photoshop.

Did you ever figure this out? Having the same problem now - I'm wondering if it has something to do with my new computer being Windows 11
