Importing and Opening EPS now Low Res

With the latest version of Photoshop (22.4.3) I have to save a vector EPS Illustrator file as a PDF to import into Photoshop. The day before the last upgrade I didn't have this issue. Now when I import an EPS, it comes in as a low res image with a white bounding box. If I import the same file as a PDF there is no problem. I made no changes in my preferences. Very frustrating.

Even when I open the EPS file in Photoshop, the options window does not appear, it just opens as a low res image. But when I open the PDF I get the options window I am used to set the parameters on how Photoshop should convert the file into an image.

Go to bed and all is fine...wake up to questions!

It's a bug in Photoshop 2021 (22.4.3 )that adobe is aware of and are working on a fix.

I'm having the same issue. Opening any work I've done in Illustrator and saved as an EPS file is now opening as a low resolution indexed color (GIF). No longer presented with the usual "rasterize EPS format" dialog box.

It's almost like Photoshop is importing the preview image as opposed to the EPS itself.

PDF files and AI files work like they should in Photoshop, just the EPS files don't work. I hope they fix the bug soon.

When I open an EPS in the last version, I see this (do you?):

Only when I save the file as a PDF first

I see this opening an EPS. You should as well. Maybe you can upload an EPS for testing.
