Improve edge

hello,

 

I have a problem with the improve edge when I work on layer masks:

I don't see the preview, while I see the windows wheel turning and despite waiting I still don't see the preview.

    Could you please post complete screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Properties, Options Bar, …) visible?
