In the curves adjustment panel, the sliders are white at the zero point when they should be black

I have looked everywhere to find out why my curves panel doesn't look like everyone else's. Does anyone know?

The radio button for Light vs. Pigment flips this for me in the Curves dialog.

Thank you everyone for your help. Selecting the 'light' radio button did the trick.

When using the Curves panel, you can, as thedigitaldog said, use Light or Pigment in the Curves dialog.

If you are using an adjustment layer, the option is in the Properties panel. Choose Curve Display Options to make that change.
