Photoshop CC 2017

Hi guys, I currently have an issue with the Pencil brush. Unlike other brushes, the pencil brush doesn't increase its size on Photoshop CC 2017. Every time I try to increase the size it keeps getting smaller to the point where it's almost invisible. Does anyone know a solution to fix this, please?

Thanks.

How are you increasing the pencil's brush size?

    1. Tapping ] on the keyboard?
    2. By dragging the mouse?
Control + Option (Mac) – drag right in order to increase brush size. Or on Windows, Alt+Right Mouse and drag right to increase brush size.
    3. By typing/dragging in the Brush preset picker?

And of course, Caps Lock shouldn't be on because it changes the brush cursor from a circle representing its size to the precision cursor (cross hairs)

This is new to me, and maybe a new bug in 2017, or not. When you draw, does the pencil line stay skinny, no matter what?
