Installed latest PS update - all layers are black - no images will appear

Everything was fine when first installed. But next day images would not appear, then I would restart computer and it was ok during that session but then next day it happened again. So today after trying to restart and still not working, I uninstalled PS and re-installed and same problem. Any thoughts?
