Inverse Selection

Hi guys and girls,

It's my first post here for me and english isn't my native language so be gentle please.

I'm having problems with my selections.

Every time I make one ( doesn't matter if it's by pen, lasso, magic wand,...) I have to invert it for me to modify. If it's one selection I can live with it but if I need to do 5 or 6 in one photo it's getting unbearable because every time I add one he forgets the last one. Which is a serious pain in the bumm.

Can someone help me out here ?

I'm running the Photoshop CC latest version (but it's always been this way) in Dutch.

You can use menu Select>Save Selection>Name as a new alpha channel and use  menu Select>Load Selection>Name or Ctrl+Click on the Alpha channel in the channels palette to load the select again.
