I cannot get to my trial of Photoshop because I need to enter a path (ippcvn8.dll).  Where and/or how do I do that? I am using Windows 10

If your CPU does not support SSE 4.2 or later, you will have to install Photoshop 2021.

See

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html  for instructions on how to do this.

Also see https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/apps_windows_10-photos/where-can-i-get-ippcvn8dll-files-to-download/8aa3bedf-29b6-4256-8598-a510a31f7bc8  because Microsoft's forums confirms Ged's information.

@gener7 "you will have to install Photoshop 2021"

I assume you mean 2020, the OP is trying to install the trial version, 2020 won't be an option.

Right 2020, Ged. So 2020 is not availiable as a trial? Sorry, I did not know.

Not sure what dll's you're referring too, bottom line is your PC is under powered to run the most recent version of Photoshop
