Question

Is anyone actively developing Photoshop? Has this been cancelled?

I get the impression that there are no active resources dedicated to IPad Photoshop. The rate of feature releases suggests it part time single FTE at best. Maybe Adobe should consider opening development up to the community if they are no longer interested in it's future. Thoughts?

Here is one thing you might do. Filter to Ideas and iPad and look through the threads. Upvote and comment on the features you are most interested in. The developers look at these threads to see where to best use their resources and to gauge interest.

I think it is not going to happen. When Adobe close down an app, it simply shuts down. It is inconceivable that they would put the source code - or the trademark - in the hands of the community, especially as it will share millions of lines of code with "real" Photosohop on computers.

The title you chose for this thread (»Is anyone actively developing Photoshop? Has this been cancelled?«) seems unfortunate as you appear not to be talking about Photoshop proper.

If you have specific issues feel free to post Bug Reports or Feature Requests, but please don’t expect Adopbe to give away their programs because they don’t meet your expectations.

Hi @peter25268707oui9 there have been monthly releases to Photoshop on the iPad - what gives you the impression that its not?
