Is it possible for a stamp tool to clone its own trail

Is it possible for a stamp tool to clone its own trail while holding mouse1 and dragging it down? like on this screen: https://i.imgur.com/jHiiLx9.jpg lets say i would like to clone long black line by using a stamp tool (i know i can make  black lines in other ways, this "situation" is just so i could explain exactly what im talking about), as you can see on the screen i already started copying the line but soon the crosshair will enter the area where the color white was previously, and it will copy the white color instead of the black one which it already cloned, so even though crosshair will be on the cloned black color it will copy what was there previously which was white (all that's happening while im continuously holding mouse1 and drag my mouse down), is there a fix for it? or it's just the way stamp tool works and there is nothing to do about it?
