Is the attached a hack?

Question

The attached symbol keeps popping up at the top of my screen while I'm in PS. It doesn't seem right to me hence my concern of a hack. Any ideas about this?  Cheers, Peter

If you are seeing this in a legit copy of Photoshop, then it is highly unlikely to be a hack.

What version did you see this pop-up window in? IIf it was a beta version, then you have no choice but to update when prompted, because they are time limited. Even the full release version will be improved version by version. There was a significant update to FireFly not so long ago, so the above message might inviting you to take advantage of it.
