Is there a quick way to rotate canvas?

I've just been entering .5 cw or ccw until the scanned image becomes aligned, is there a shortcut to having to enter in values until the picture becomes straight?

You can rotate the page in the latest version. go to the bottom right corner and click on the - + box to rotate to the angle you want your page. Here I have rotated the page 17 degrees with best paintball.

Document Properties allows you to choose your page size/dimensions, set up guides, grids, input your metadata and even choose the document’s license.

Do the line trick! Grab the measure tool and "measure" a line that is the true alignment in the image. Then go Image->Rotate Canvas->Arbitrary and the dialog comes up with the magic number.
