issue with brush tool

Hello,

probably a simple problem to resolve but I can't seem to figure it out. With the brush tool when I change the size of the brush I see the circle but as soon as I move the curser the circle disappears and only the crosshairs remain. I want the circle to stay visible because it helps me control where I'm moving the brush.

I cannot reproduce the issue so far. 

What are the Photoshop > Preferences > Cursors settings? 

 

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Hello, thanks for responding!
I checked all the settings and they all seemed ok.
I then restarted everything, photoshop, computer, etc and that seemed to do
the trick...
