Issue with layer mask

Can you post a screenshot inclucding your layers and mask?  We can't tell what is going on with this image. 

Please describe your issue more detailed. What do you mean with "...can't seem to bring the cut-out image forward...".

Please Consider also the following in your question:

• Adobe product and version number
• Operating system and version number
• The full text of any error message (s)

Maybe you can post your Photoshop system info. In Photoshop goto Help > System Info and hit the copy button. Then paste the entire informations into this thread.

Please attach also sreenshots from the layer view.
