Issue with the Gradient Editor and selecting certain Library swatch colors

I'm encountering a pretty nasty bug with the Gradient Editor in Photoshop when selecting certain colors in a CC Library. I've built several CC Libraries for brands over the years that I manage and which I've also shared with others.
When I open the Libraries panel and choose one of the Pantone colors, then go to create a new Gradient Fill Layer from the Layers panel, when attempting to edit the gradient, the window appears blank. The controls become visible if the window is moved, but clicking on anything will make Photoshop unresponsive. If I click on the arrow next to the gradient preview, the preview panel appears blank and Photoshop becomes unresponsive as well.
The problem is, I don't know how to isolate this issue. It only happens with some of my established CC Libraries which have named Pantone colors already in them. If I try and create a new library even with the same named swatch colors, the issue does not occur.
This must be a recent issue as well as this is something I've done before and never had a problem with. All instances of the gradient control are broken as well, so the ones found in the Layer Styles for Gradient Overlay and Outer Glow, for example, also experience the same issues. Or the Gradient Tool itself. Clicking the gradient in the control bar will lock up Photoshop instantly.
I am on Photoshop 25.7.0 and on Windows 10. I have this happening on two different systems with access to the same libraries.
Finally, regarding the Gradient Editor window, at least on Windows, upon opening the window the first time since launch, the Maximize button is available and can be clicked, but after clicking it, the button becomes disabled and you cannot unmaximize, but the window can still be resized down to its usual size afterwards.
