Issues after moving to Windows 10

Well Adobe forced the upgrade to Windows10 due to their no longer supporting Win7. So now I am experiencing some issues.

1. I am unable to see any editing (eraser strokes, marque selections) until I zoom in/out. In other words I cannot see any live changes.
If I change opacity, I must click anywhere in order to see the opacity change. This cannot be right!

2. Also, Height and Width are scaling together, even though I have them unlinked. Is there any other place I need to uncheck in order to scale H and V independently?

Thanks in advance!

anyone know why I must zoom in/out in order to see changes as mentioned in my previous post (#1)?

Try turning on Legacy Compositing found under Edit > Preferences > General > Performance in the section titled Options.

    Hi

Adobe hasn't stopped support for Windows 7 with SP1, Windows 8 yes

Why did everybody hate Win 8 so much? Yes, the "metro" start screen was obviously a mistake, but other than that, did it have any serious problems causing Adobe to stop supporting it? Just curious (I went from 7 to 10).

I went from Win 7 to 8 to 8.1 and then 10, didn't like Win 8 that much but 8.1 was a big improvement, found it a bit strange that Adobe decided to ditch support for Win 8.1 and keep it for Win 7 considering 7 is an older version

Click shift while resiizing.  This is a behavior change in the latest version.

Wow, why on earth would Adobe make such a silly change?? Thank you for the info!

Well with that out of the way, anyone know why I must zoom in/out in order to see changes as mentioned in my previous post (#1)?

Make sure you have "Use Legacy Compositing" check in the preferences under performance.
