Issues opening images as layers into Photoshop from Lightroom.

When I have a series of images selected in Lightroom I was always able to open the series in Photoshop as layers by selecting that option in my drop down menue in Lightroom. With the recent update however it will only open 1 to 2 of the photos in the series selected and well as opens another of the photos in series in a seprate photoshop window. It not only feels more clunky then before but it is almost like it just stops in the middle of whatever actions Lightroom usually does.

Update: The same thing happens when I try to open the series as a panorama in photoshop as well.

Is there any fix to this or other people having the same issue?
