Question

Issues with zoom and scrolling resetting on its own

Ok so I hope I can explain this but for a while now I have this issue..
For instance, I have to photos I am trying to compare so I zoom in then pan left or right to any location I want to compare at 100% zoom for example. But when I switch from one photo tab to the other, the image moves again almost centered.
It used to be that I could scroll all the way to an edge and compare them that way but from sometime on, it has been resetting back to center or near center.
Anyone has an idea why?

Running Windows 10 latest with latest Nvidia drivers (RTX 3080) and AMD 5950x

This is a bug with the latest PS. Zooming in and out does not always correctly center the image. Look forward to Adobe addressing it in 6 months or never lol.

I don't undurstand everything but here a few tips:

Open image 1 and 2

Go to menu Window/Arrange/2-up

Hold down the shift and use the hand or the zoom tool to move both images

Also you can go to Window/Arrange/Match....

Also maybe if you try to reset the preferences will work, here the instructions:
