Jpeg with depth maps in Photoshop
Hi all,
I've recently purchased a Samsung S10 mobile phone, which supports the "live focus" option. From what I understand this embeds a depth map into the image for later manipulation.
This allows me to upload image to Facebook as "3d photos", IE. the ones that have a parallax effect. And if I open the jpeg using StereoPhoto Maker (http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/index.html), a really old application, I can split the image from its depthmap.
Is there a way of getting Photoshop to see the embedded depth map without having to manually split photo from depth map?
I'm using Photoshop CC (V20), on Windows 10.
Thanks.
