I agree, this is probably down to colourspace, image size or resolution, you'll have to ask the Lab

If the image is 4x5.59, then the lab would not take it because it is the wrong size. What reason did the lab give you for rejecting the image? Pull out the original and crop it down to one of the Lab's standard sizes and resubmit it.

@mglush – That is what I was hinting at...

 

Perhaps the resolution was "too high or low" and failed an automated preflight. Or perhaps they only accept sRGB, or perhaps...

The image posted here is Adobe RGB, 1463 x 2048 px at 5:7 ratio – 4 x 5.59" (~365ppi) or 10.72 x 15 cm (~348ppi)… So it may require a slight crop if output as 4x5" or 10x15cm.

Looks like a normal JPG image. Have you asked the photo lab why?
