Hi,

I just updated to whatever the new update I was just prompted to do for CC. I've done this numerous times and never had an issue.  I seem to have lost all my photoshop brushes, save for 5 of the last ones I used.  Wtf?  Theres nothing in the presets folder either.

I have a mac running Mojave

The File Locations help page gives the location for CS6, so you'll need to adjust accordingly

If that location is empty, then you should still have the folder hierarchy for the previous version, and hopefully find all your .abr files there.  If that's the case, you'll need to copy them across.

I can only find 2 brushes in the preset folder. However, I did find a file Brushes.psp in the Photoshop settings folder.  How do I open that, or is that not possible.  When I try it says photoshop doe not recognize this type of file.

My main annoyance here is that I didn't even update photoshop, I was prompted to update acrobat and did so and then this happened.

don't activate auto-update and also make sure to keep the original-presets – all inside the CC desktop app.
