Keep layer edits made in timeline after deleting timeline

Situation:

• I created 4 layers
• Created a Frame Animation with the Timeline view
• Frame 1: Layer 1 only on, Frame 2: Layer 2 only on, etc (4 frames)
• I made edits to Layer 2 while on Frame 2 in Timeline
• I deleted the Timeline Frames
• Layer 2 reverts to its original state, losing the edits made to it

Goal:

I want to know if there is a way to KEEP those edits, even after deleting the Timeline Frames. Is there a 'right click' option somehwere that let's me 'Bake In Edits' or something.

Current Workaround:

• Select the Frame in Timeline
• Duplicate the Layer/Folder that is currently visible in Layers
• Delete the original Layer/Folder that the edit was made in, and is linked to the Timeline Frame
