Key commands not working properly photoshop 2024/mac Sonoma

Key commands have to be entered several times before working. Command +C, command+v, command+s, etc. It’s really annoying, and can screw things up if you’re using a few in a row and one doesn’t actually work. It’s been happening for several versions, now. On the off chance that this isn’t just Adobe breaking and then not fixing something else, does anyone know of a fix? This isn’t the "spring loaded shortcuts” problem. I'm also experiencing it in Illustrator. I was experiencing it in the previous OS version, as well.
