Конфигурация компьютера для препресса в типографию флексопечати

Добрый день!

У нас возникла необходимость покупки новых компьютеров в типографию. Нашему системному инженеру трудно принять решение по покупке оборудования. Это должен быть компьютер на базе PC.

  • Рабоче место которое требуется сконцигурировать должно выполнять следующие задачи:
    - точно отображать на мониторе (который должен колиброваться) изображение идущее в печать (флексопечать). Должна быть максимальная цветопередача;
    - компьютер должен спокойно обрабатывать макеты идущие в печать. Макеты все сделаны в Adobe Illustrator в который прилинкованы изображения из Adobe Photoshop. Макеты сложные. Много слоев, изображений;
  • Системный администратор просит обоснований:
    - наличия видеокарточки (так же вызывает вопрос у нашего сисадмина);
    - оперативной памяти - 64Г (он считает это избыточным);
    - профессионального монитора (со встроенным LUT и 10 bit цветопередачей);
  • В идеале если совет по конфигурации дали бы непосредственно из Adobe,  т.к. я считаю более авторитетного мнения трудно найти.

Good afternoon!

We had a need to buy new computers for the printing house. It is difficult for our systems engineer to make a decision to purchase equipment. It should be a PC-based computer.

  • The workplace to be configured must perform the following tasks:
    - accurately display on the monitor (which should be cricked) the image going to print (flexographic printing). There should be a maximum color reproduction;
    - The computer should calmly process the layouts going to print. The layouts are all made in Adobe Illustrator which links images from Adobe Photoshop. Layouts are complex. Many layers, images;
  • The system administrator asks for justifications:
    - the presence of a video card (also raises a question from our sysadmin);
    - RAM - 64G (he thinks it's redundant);
    - professional monitor (with built-in LUT and 10 bit color reproduction);
  • Ideally, configuration advice would be given directly from Adobe, as I think a more authoritative opinion is hard to come by.

You can refer to these, I would avoid the minimum spec and even the recomended may still be underpowered depending on the size of documents that you handle.

One thing the specs gloss over is scratch disk. A fast scratch disk with plenty of free space is essential as with large multi layered documents Photoshop will use scratch space regardless of RAM size (I use an Nvme drive with over 1TB free space for scratch)
