Kyle ink brushes stamping at beginning of line

I want to use kyle's ink brush set, but for some reason most of the brushes stamp at the beginning of the line. Any ideas why this is happening and how I can stop it? It doesn't happen if I move the brush quickly, but that's not always a solution because I like to be slow and deliberate with my lines.
