  1. Use rectangular tool to create 50 to 100 square shapes
  2. Make sure "Show Transform Control" is checked in the tool box on top
  3. With move tool selected, drag and select all shapes
  4. Drag and move them around

Is this laggy to you at all?

I have been suffering with this issue for years. This problem seems to exist on multiple Windows devices for me. I am curious if this is a Photoshop known issue.... or my hardware/software issue...

I noticed that the lag only goes away if I did one of the following:
  1. Unchecked View/Show/Target Path
  2. Clicked on one of the transform handles in the corners before moving them around
  3. Unchecked Use Graphic Processor in preferences and restart (but quality would be pixelated)

I tried following but nothing has helped:
  1. reinstall windows 10 & photoshop
  2. update windows 10 softwares
  3. update bios, chiplet driver, all other drivers are up todate
  4. update GPU drivers to latest
  5. Shut down all other software and unnecessary services

Spec:
windows 10
Ryzen 5600x > I tried upgrading to 5900x
1TB Samsung EVO 970 NVME SSD
Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3000MHZ CL16 Ram
RTX 2060 > I tried upgrading to 3600TI
