Lag zooming with spacebar + alt drag, only when I press spacebar first.

I experience lag at the start of my mouse drag when I try to zoom in or out using spacebar + alt + mouse drag. 

Only happens when I press spacebar first and then alt. If I press alt and then spacebar I don't experience the lag.
