late 2013 iMac with Creative Cloud - photoshop crashing

When I try to open a JPG or Tif in photoshop the program crashes. I spoke with a Creative Cloud tech this morning who remoted onto my computer and they said I need to update the graphic card on my computer.

I am wondering if there is anyway around that? I tried to download an older version of Photoshop, but when I launch it I get the following error...

Adobe Application Manager, required to run your product, is missing or damaged.

Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager from

http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager.

I have the Application Manager on my computer already.. so I am stumped. Can an 2017 or 2018 version of photoshop not run on Mojave?

My iMac is a 27 inch late 2013. running 10.14.4 Mojave.

Any help is MUCH appreciated..

Someone telling you to upgrade the graphic card is an idiot, plain and simple.

CC runs fine on Mojave. Install the latest version from the CC app.

If you keep getting crashes, post screenshots of the error messages.

Well I'm running CC 2018 and 2019 on my mid-2012 MBP running 10.14.4, but it has an Intel card. Nothing crashes.

    Have you tried this? https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/open-apps-wont-work-mojave-photoshop-3684425/
