Latest install of Photoshop will intermittently freeze doing just about anything

Ex: Using Line Tool you can drag to create the line and the blue outline appears and then it just sits there. Thirty seconds later it draws the line and you can continue. Does it every couple minutes (sometimes less) and it doesn't matter what tool. Borderline unuseable.
