I just update the software , if i add an image as a layer to an already open image I cannot crop that new layer individually. Is there a setting I am missing?  HELP

Hi

Cropping is for the entire document. Use Edit > Free Transform (Cmd+T) for the layer.

NO,   lets see if I can explain,  I haave an image open and let say i add my signature on a transparent layer ontop of the originally open image. I cant move, crop or change the new layer without affecting the original
