Layers are not showing up in CC 2019

For some reason when I opened a PSD file that is created by other application (Clip Studio Paint), some layers goes invisible when I open them in Photoshop CC 2019. I can see the layers on the panel, I can select them but I just can't see it in the document. If I duplicate the invisible layer to other document, they do showing up.

I tried to open the same document on CC 2018, and that version can open the PSD file correctly.

What gives, Adobe..?

One thing to try,

Turn on the Legacy Compositing option in Performance preferences.

Choose Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows) . Select Legacy Compositing. Quit and relaunch Photoshop.

I figured that if using artboards, collapsing the full artboard layers in the layers pannel and dragging one up or down the others fixes the bug for me... but why...?

The best practice is to save a new copy of your work once you created all of your primary layers. Then work on the copy and create new copies as you go. For example, save Project 1,then Project 1A, Project 1B and so on. It's a bit of a hassles but Photoshop has always had this layer bug that I hope someday Adobe will fix sometime.

One thing to try,

Well apparently that's the answer, thank you. I really have no idea this option exists.

try saving the file again as psd from phtoshop 2018 And reopen the file in PS 2019 Or, create a new document in photoshop 2019 and duplicate the layer in the new document ( select the layer, right click on one of them in the layer panel, select duplicate , from destination select the document you just created)

Nope, it's still the same. I'm expecting saving the file with Photoshop would work, even with Maximize Compatibility option, but the issue still exists.

About duplication method, I think I found some kind of 'corrupted' folder of layers because if I duplicate this folder to new document, they aren't showing up but if I duplicate other folders, they are visible in new document.
