Layers To Files

I make thousands of swatches for my company. I use Export Layers To Files but it adds a numerical tag: _0001, _0002, etc. I don't see the useful benefit of this. Can this be changed so that no tags are added?
If Adobe could add a tick box maybe, to remove this option, it would be a massive "life improvement". I have noticed this is a common complaint within the community.
