i saw this feature in Photoshop v21.2 it says switch to legacy compositing engine .

I found out that it switches to old photoshop compositing engine of maybe older versions of PhotoshopCC

but i wanted to that is there a any big difference in normal and legacy compositing engine?

what are the things i wont be able to do if i use legacy compositing and what are the extra features i would be able to use with the normal compositing engine? Does this do any thing wrong with my work?

Don't use legacy compositing unless you have to. It was there as a temporary fix for those who needed it (not all did), and those issues have been fixed in 21.2. Turn it off, as having it on may now cause issues on some systems.
