Lens Correction to part of image only?

Hello,

I have an architectural image where the subject splits into two halves. The church on the right is correctly positioned and I don't want to pull at anything or I could lose the top part of the tower. But the buildings on the left have a distinct tilt and I want to correct that.

Basically can you make a selection in PS and apply Tilt and/or Lens Correction to just that part? I'm not having any luck!

This was done in Lightroom Classic with the Guided upright function.

Photoshop's Camera raw filter has the same functionality in the Geometry panel.

You could also use the Perspective crop tool in Photoshop.

Thanks Per for that direction. So to clarify the matter, is it true to say the image must be worked as one entity for any

perspective/lens correction i.e it's not possible to select a distinct area and alter that apart from the rest of the image?

There are probably ways to do this by transforming a selection, but I've never tried it.

I imagine it would be a lot of work, and very difficult to achieve a natural look.

Guided upright is fast and simple to use, but when doing large corrections like this, parts of the image will be cropped out.
