Lines crossing over each other makes them mix
Whenever I draw two lines over eac other, they mix and make a lighter or darker shade. I don't know how to turn this off or whether is is a brush setting or bug.

With the brush tool selected, check your brush blend mode in the options bar at the top of the screen, and change it to 'normal'
