Liquify crashing photoshop

when I try to use the liquify tool nothing happens, it won't move anything

but then when I come back out of the liquify tool menu nothing in photoshop works right

I can't zoom in or out and basically need to use task manager to shut photoshop down

Does this happen with all documents? Which version of the application and Windows are you using?

Please check for any pending updates for your computer's graphics driver.

As a test, try pressing the ALT key when launching the Liquify filter to skip using GPU for Liquify.
