Loading Actions and making them work.

I followed the instructions and loaded the action for SultanBanner, and then opened the stencil.  After that I tried to run the action, but it keeps telling me the various steps are unavailable.  Like "select" is unavailable.   Can you tell me what to do or is there someone who has a phone number or email address for Microwave?  I tried to find them on the net and couldn't.  There is another company that has the name, but it' for health supplies.  I'm using the latest version of Photoshop CC on an Apple MacBook.
