Locking Aspect Ratio of exported images (outside of photoshop)

Hello!
I am wondering if there is any way to Lock the Aspect Ratio of an exported image so that the end user cannot resize independently (ie: if used within a document or email etc). Such as a logo that must maintain its ratio to avoid accidental distortion.

Has anyone seen, or heard of such a thing? I feel like the answer is no - and this is a setting in the end users program (word etc) rather than the responsibility of the designer. But, thought I would check just in case.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think that's possible.

Hi

No, as Chuck said. You mentioned Word, however, and in Microsoft Word:

right-click the image > Size and Position > undistort by typing in the percentages for width and height.

PS recently switched to proportional resize by default, joining other newer applications, so we may see more applications joining in this trend in the years to come.

Thank you Chuck and Jane. I didn't think so - and all my research suggested that this is dependant of whichever program a user is adding the image to. I appreciate the validation.
