Lost all images and graphics on artboard, but the layers are still there. Help!

I have no idea how this just happened. I was working on a file with 32 artboards for social media posts for a client. All of a sudden, all the images, text and vectors disappeared from my artboards. They are still in the layers panel, but I can't see them on the artboard. When I select an image layer and go Image>Adjustments, everything is unavailable. 

 

Has anyone seen this before? How do I fix it?

This just happened to me and like you, I can find no help. Did you ever figure this out?
