Question

Mac OS Sonoma is not compatible with the Liquify tool

When opening liquify tool, the mouse jumps all over the screen giving me no control.  If I turn off the graphics processor, the forward warp tool works but the face tool does not.   I am forced to turn the GPU on and off depending on which tool within the liquify filter I want to use.  It's definitely a OS Sonoma issue bc on my laptop that still has Ventura 13.5, it is not an issue.

This has not been widely reported nor am I seeing it on multiple computers. Maybe you can be the one who posts system info and more details?

SAME!!!! I have to turn off the graphics processor to use PSCC with Sonoma. Caused me to buy a Studio when I did not need one because I thought my 27" iMac was to slow for the PSCC 2024 upgrade. Grrrrr.... Now I have to work (yes, I am a work from home mom with an autistic child doing graphic design and retouching for my living) without the graphics processor. Rediculously slow and clunky. The incompatibility affects many of the other tools, as well. So frustratation.

Can you post your system info? I'm not seeing this on either Intel or M1 Macs.

Me and my team of designers is all having issues with a bug with the liquify tool. When you go into Liquify tool mode, the cursor just moves around by itself like it has a mind of it's own. This tool is essential to a lot of what we do and we currently basically unable to use it. Is Adobe aware of this issue?

We are all on the most updated version of the Photoshop app and using Mac's with OS Sonoma 14.3.1.

For those who stuck with this issue the only solution so far is this (Mac) :

1. move the cursor all the way up the screen (where the Menu is)

2. start Liquify filter with a shortcut Shift+Cmd+X
