Magenta Farbstich beim Drucken aus Adobe Apps

Hallo Zusammen,

 

mein neuer Epson Drucker, SC-900, produziert einen fiesen Magentastich beim Drucken aus Adobe Produkten. 

Habs mittlerweile von 2 Computern aus probiert (Einer mit aktueller Creative Suite (MacBookPro mit i9 Intel), der andere mit der 2020er), sowohl aus Photoshop, Acrobat und InDesign.

Eigentlich produzieren also die Adobe Apps den Farbstich 🙂

Und jetzt kommts: Der Druck aus Apple "Fotos" funktioniert einwandfrei, sowohl vom Computer, als auch vom Ipad aus. Die Epson Leute sagen "keine Ahnung", und ich weiss echt nicht weiter.

Kennt jemand das Problem, bzw hat jemand ne Idee?

Actually, the Adobe apps produce the color cast 🙂

And here it comes: Printing from Apple "Photos" works perfectly, both from the computer and from the Ipad. The Epson people say "I don't know", and I really don't know what to do.

Does anyone know the problem, or does anyone have an idea?

A magenta cast can be caused by "double profiling" – i.e. both the application you're printing from and the printer driver are set to manage colors.

Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign all have options for print color management, and if if you have set them to manage colors, you have to disable color management in the printer driver.

If you want the printer to manage colors, you have to turn color management off in the Print dialog in Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign.

Hi, thank you! But what actually is the printer driver, or better where is it? (Apple!)

Or from where can i get access?
In „settings“ i can´t find any possibility to change or manage colors.
In „Finder“ , EPSON SC-P900 Series (IP).app also no color management button…
In Photoshop it looks like you can, i did, and nothing changed 😞
