I have to use pictures from my client PDF into photoshop. The picture needs to be larger. As we know, it becomes unsharp and pixely. Since I have no other options, how can I maximize my picture in Photoshop? Thank you!

It is surely up to the client to supply you with materials up to the job.  It is no reflection on you if they fail to do that.  Ask them to track down a high resolution, or the original image, or offer to retake the photograph (if possible) at your usual rate for the additional work.

I have asked for the originals but all questions have been answered negatively. I have opened the picture in photoshop, not the whole page (copy from pdf/ then open in Photoshop) the picture has to be 30% bigger. no good.

opy from pdf/ then open in Photoshop

Please use Photoshop’s Import PDF-dialog instead as shown in post 1.

Otherwise use Acrobat’s »Edit Object«-Tool and alt-double-click the image, this should open pixel-images in Photoshop.

Where do I find Import PDF in Photoshop?

Drag the pdf’s icon onto Photoshop’s application icon or use File > Open.

Say what?

How did you open the images from the pdf?

When one uses Import PDF to import the Images (as opposed to the Pages) of a pdf one gets the full quality and resolution the images have in the pdf.

If that is not enough one should ascertain whether the original images were larger/better and if so procure those.

Otherwise one may have to upsample the images; »Preserve Details« may yield better results than Photoshop’s other Image Interpolation Methods but naturally there are limits to what it can achieve.
